H.E.L.P. Completed a 3 Week Stray and Domestic Dog and Cat Sterilization and Vaccination Camp

May 2024

H.E.L.P. Just Completed  a 3 Week Stray and Domestic Dog and Cat Sterilization and Vaccination Camp in the Tsum and Nubri Valleys with their partner organization Animal Nepal. The link between humans, their animals and the communities was wonderful to watch. Animal Nepal treated over 250 Animals as patients. In addition to sterilizations and vaccinations, many animals were dewormed and de-fleaing.

This camp is a 4-5 year project  and they hope to reach outlying areas that could not be reached this year. They are also observing and trying to understand the feral dog problem in these areas to be able to manage them in a humane and effective way to prevent biting attacks.
