Exciting News from Philim!
We’re thrilled to announce the grand opening of our new kindergarten in Philim village! The opening ceremony, held on 12th November, was graced by Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche, head monks from Philim and neighboring villages, and officials from the Tsum-Nubri Rural Municipality. The ceremony included prayers, a ribbon cutting, a tour of the campus, speeches on the importance of education by various special guests, and cultural songs & dances by the locals.
On 18th November, we officially welcomed 40 children to their new learning haven, providing quality early childhood education, nutritious lunches, and mid-afternoon snacks. This initiative also aims to support parents, especially single parents, by offering a safe and enriching space for their little ones.
